What does the jukebox ‘Empty Queue Setting’ do?

When no songs are in the play queue, your jukebox will use the ‘Empty Queue Setting’ to select a track to play until the queue have a track to play. This is great to keep the music playing even when no one is queuing songs.

The ‘Empty Queue Setting’ has three different options:

  1. Play Nothing – When the queue is empty, no songs will play.
  2. This Jukebox’s History – When the queue is empty, the jukebox will play songs that have been previously played on this jukebox.
  3. Entry Jukebox Star Database – When the queue is empty, the jukebox will play songs that have been played on any jukebox on Jukebox Star.

To change the ‘Empty Queue Setting’ for a jukebox, follow these steps:

  1. Click on ‘Jukeboxes’ in the bottom menu.
  2. Click on ‘My Jukeboxes’ in the top menu.
  3. Click on the ‘More Options’ button next to the jukebox you wish to manage.
  4. Click on ‘Edit Jukebox’.
  5. Change ‘Empty Queue Setting’ to the desired setting.
  6. Click ‘Save Jukebox’
